The autumn term is always one of the busiest and the second half leading up to Christmas is full on. In the newsletter sent out before the half term break you were given a number of key dates for up and coming events. We have Y6 performing 'Hamlet' at the Riverfront, I look forward every year to this fabulous event and of course to our Christmas concerts, services and parties for both you and the children. Of special note and coming up next week is the 'Sleep Out' event to show our support for 'Llamau' a supported housing charity caring for and looking after young homeless people and victims of domestic violence. I am so proud to tell you that along with myself, we have 17 staff braving the elements and sleeping out in Cardiff to raise awareness of homelessness next Thursday the 12th November. On the same night we are having a 'Sleep In' Film night at school for up to 300 children from 5pm - 7.30pm, again huge thanks to the staff and helpers who will be with the children that evening. Our aim is to raise £3000 for the charity and I hope you can support us as much as you can to reach our target. As usual we will also be supporting Children in Need, one of our children's favourite charities within the next few weeks. Yes, it's going to be a very busy term and the children are going to have some fantastic learning experiences leading up to the Christmas holidays. Hwyl Fawr Bawb!!
